Alarm notification: No appointment text but only "*****"

    Hallo,

sometimes (with DejaOffice 3.1.3 (651) (09/15/14) now more often than before) DO does not show the appointment text in the alarm notification (I mean this info when pulling down the top info bar). There's only "*******", where should be "meeting with xy". I can't figure out, why only some appointments are affected ...

    Any idea?

    Hi Michael

Could it be something to do with text length?

      I don't think so: "13Hv102/14z, Saal 234, HV" shouldn't be too long.

        Hi Michael,

Do you have "Mask Records" enabled in DejaOffice > Settings > Privacy and Encryption Settings?

Any display of ***** is associated with record masking and private records. If it is a private record, and masking is off, then the subject will not be visible.

Ah, I see! Is this a new behavior? I think, a few weeks ago, there was no difference between "private" and "non private" appointments regarding alarms.

This behavior starts when you select "Mask Records" in Privacy and Encryption settings.

If you don't like it, then turn off masking...
