    Feature request: Clickable file links

In Contacts, in both the Website fields and Custom fields, it is possible to store a website address that is clickable when viewing the contact.

Can the same be done for file links? For example, for the following example:

    file:///path/any_file.txt

Could that be implemented so that the link is clickable when viewing the contact, and passed to Android to open or prompt user for app to open it with?

Currently a file link can be saved in a website field or custom field, but is not clickable.

Thanks in advance for any consideration.

If you check in the DejaOffice Settings > General Settings find the Hyperlinks in notes option, is Website enabled here?

Yes. But that only makes "http://..." and "https://..." links clickable, not "file:///..." links.

        Jeff,

Apologies, using "Add Attachment" in the Contact Edit allows you to link files. We would only show the "File Name" but not the path. Tapping the file from the contact detail will launch it.
