    Could not locate database, Restore a Backup -- But date is 3 days ago!!!!

    This happens to me about once a year. Today 3/28, DejaOffice can't locate DB but the Restore option that pops up is for an older DB (3/25/24). I thought the latest update fixed the backup/restore issues. I know how to fix this by now because I've been through this so many times. But I fear that if you don't fix this issue, others will abandon this software and then you won't have enough users to pay for fixes that are needed in the future. I've attached some screen shots that show there are a couple of DBs that are dated today 3/28/24 right after my last Sync. I just copied one of them to the phone & it's fixed. I can't upload the phone screen shot showing the restore is dated 3/25/24 "image resize failed...image library not having support for this image type" and the Word file is too big.

    It sounds like you are using USB sync, is this correct? USB Sync involves copying the Database File to the PC, then back to the mobile. During this time the PC has "hold" of the mobile, if it does not let go, the Phone will be "unable to find the database".

    There are some things you can do to help, Unplug the phone when a sync completes before looking at any of the data, try a new cable and maybe a different port. Our Wifi and DejaCloud syncs do not have this issue. We have plenty of users that sync just fine, but we appreciate your concern.

    Backups are made on a successful sync, so if 3 days ago was the last successful sync, that would be when we have the last backup. You can make manual backups in the Settings > Logging and Support Settings > Backup database.

    We are working on a new USB sync for version 11, which we hope to have this mitigated further,
