Sync runs but doesn't update DJO

Hoping this forum is still active - I've totally messed this up somehow. All has been good for quite a while, but now I have a major problem. Palm Desktop is current, and at this point Deja Office is empty. I've tried several times to sync from Palm to DJO and though it seems to be working, when it's done DJO is still empty. I have Companion Link set to sync all 4 parts - Palm DT to Android, Deletion has Palm is primary DB, and Reread Palm is checked.

The phone has DJO 4.4.61 (build 1702), and Palm says it is Version 4.2

    Marjory,

You could try clearing the cache. On the PC in CompanionLink under Settings > Advanced > Support Tab click Remove Cached Info. Click Yes.

Try a new sync with the phone. Any change when it completes?

YES, quick check says that they match now. Thanks for the help!

Same problem - my notes as I keep trying - newest at top:
4/11/25 - morning - same as last night - phone keeps spinning on Press OK when PC side is done, tried that, DJO still empty. Left them connected, after a few minutes the Press OK msg popped up again. Did okay again - still empty, and it says last sync was yesterday 6 pm. FWIW - Palm calendar does show future holidays, but that's probably from a separate source.
Tried again - same thing - CLO is done, Palm keeps spinning
          CLO build 10046; DJO 4.4.61, build 1702
Last try - set to sync Palm to Android, Palm is primary, nothing to reread
4/10/25 - Syncs had been okay during day. Generally sync both ways
Did evening sync, all seemed okay, maybe did something wrong when it appeared to be done and tapped okay - phone app was empty
Tried sync from Palm to Android w/reread Palm. Seemed to run okay, but data is still empty in DJO
4/4/25 - Doing a USB sync, the message in DJO to Press OK when the PC sync is complete keeps spinning when the sync is done. Then a bit after I did that I noticed that CL was done and its message to do OK in DJO was there. I checked and the items in the 2 sides do match (the ones left in yesterday's calendar).

It happened again! DJO was completely empty, and right now I'm doing the big sync to get them together again. Could there be something that I'm doing to cause this problem? I'm not aware of anything odd happening before it goes empty. Fortunately, I make most of my changes in Palm in the computer, so that's pretty current. Also, I had done a good sync late yesterday, so I hadn't done much since then.

And now, I've had the opposite problem a couple of times - I had everything matching for several days, syncing both ways as needed, and when I did a sync this morning, it didn't update the phone at all. It was set to sync each of the 4 parts both ways, and records in either deleted. I'm going to leave it alone until tomorrow morning, and probably uninstall/reinstall Palm as I did the last time this happened; if I do that, the first sync will be Palm to Android, Palm is primary, and reread Palm checked. I really don't think that I've done anything odd with either app, or the phone settings.
Now that I think about this morning's sync, it seemed to be done but the "press okay when done" message didn't stop spinning, so after a bit I tapped okay anyway. So a question for the future is - how long to wait for it to stop, and/or what's best to do if it doesn't stop.

Does anybody still read the forums?? I uninstalled DJO, made sure it was gone; reinstalled it, and did a full sync from PC to DJO. Waited patiently until it was done, tapped okay. Result - DJO is still totally empty. What else can I try??
The phone has DJO 4.4.61 (build 1716), and Palm says it is Version 4.2
                Windows is:
                Edition Windows 10 Home
                Version 22H2
                Installed on ‎10/‎31/‎2020

Update - I'm gradually making it somewhat better. I've synced just from Palm to a totally empty Android, first just Calendar, and then was able to add Tasks. Those are my most frequently used parts. So Android is useable during the day, but I'm trying to not make any changes in it. When I have time to experiment, I'll try doing a few changes on both sides (different items) and see if it's back to normal.

Back again, and hoping for help! Besides the above problems (which had stopped for a while), currently the Press OK when sync is done message never goes away when the PC side is done -- and DJO is still empty. I have one more thing to try, but would appreciate suggestions now.
Pause - I just uninstalled DJO and restarted the phone. I went to the Play Store, and installed the version there. It says it's DJO 4.4.61 (1723). I'll do a fresh sync from Palm to it, and hope it stays good for quite a while.

For the times when I'm offline and need to reinstall from a file in the phone or PC - What's the best version of the DJO apk file to use? I have at least 2 versions of it - one is 17,081 KB, and a somewhat newer one is 19,524 KB. The last time I was offline and reinstalled it, I used the newer one.
EDIT - I also have an apk file that's 22,324 KB.
