    Custom Alarm

    Dear Internet:

Is there a way to set a custom Notification sound / Alarm sound for the calendar?

Right now, my DJO uses the "System Notification" sound for appointments. For other, annoying, reasons, I need to change the system's default sound, but I don't want to use that for DJO Calendar alarms.

    Thanks!

The answer to this may appear elsewhere - my quick Search didn't find it - so apologies for redundancy. And if it's a super-easy setting I keep missing, well, it's well-established I'm none too bright.

Dan: You're gonna need to get someone to fix my computer.
    Kim: What's wrong with it?
Dan: It's in several pieces on my floor.

    RJ,

You can set a custom alarm in the DeajOffice Settings > Alarm Settings. Tap and hold the "Sound and Vibrate Settings" option. From the Popup select " Channel Settings - Calendar Alarm". Here chagne the "Sound" setting.

        Sorry for licking windows here...

This worked like a charm... Until it didn't.

I don't know what happened, but my Android is back to using the device's default Notification sound when my DJO calendar alarm goes off.

I have done as you commanded above:
On device: DJO Settings=>Alarm Settings=>[Long Press]Sound and Vibrate Settings=>Channel Settings, and the desired sound is indeed selected.
        Screenshot here.

Additionally, on the device, I've gone to Settings=>Notifications=>Advanced settings, and turned ON "Manage notification categories for each app"
        Screenshot here.

        What am I missing?

(Sorry for links to screenshots - the image upload button gave me errors!)

In the DejaOffice Settings > Alarm settings, at the top what is the top option DejaOffice Alarms set to? This should be Ring in DejaOffice.
