Calender changes times of original appointments

I am synching from Outlook 2010 on my desktop via USB.

I have been having multiple problems with getting my calendar appointments to synch correctly to my android device. There seems to be some sort of time shift happening on the phone for some reason as all appointments no longer have the correct time.

I have made multiple calls to support without answer and email support is getting me nowhere. Ticket ID: NFM-167-58503.

I don't know why dejacalendar needs to change ANY data on my synched appointments but I have now invested my 6th hour of trying to fix this problem without resolution and quite frankly I am beyond furious that I spent $50 for an app that doesn't work correctly and there is no live support for it.

I am on EST and not roaming. I need someone to contact me about fixing this issue ASAP because I depend on my calendar to be accurate and match what appointments were made on m y computer.

    User14, welcome to the forums.

Android phones are created by Google and based on Linux. Linux requires that all dates on the phone be referenced by GMT, and not local time. They lack the option that the PC has to store dates in local time, without a time zone reference. Depending on your sync method there may be additional settings.

In DejaOffice, if you go to Settings, General Settings, Time Zone Shift (4th Item) and turn this Off. This is the most common setting that will treat Android appointments much like the PC.

If you sync through Google, you will have problems until you set your Google Time Zone too match your PC Time zone. Go into Google Calendar, and then Settings and set your time zone there.

I apologize for the slow response on the tech support lines. This week Google made a critical change to ClientLogin which has affected many customers for CompanionLink, and also people who use Google accounts on related products like iPhones. So our support has been a bit behind.

I have referred your issue to a technician to reach out and help you fix the settings so the time zones work right for you.

Hi DJOCTO - I did make that change in the settings already and it did not revert any of the times in the appointments. I also tried wiping all of the calendar data and resynching without success.

I'll be waiting for a call then I guess. Need to get this solved today. Been working on this since I bout the new phone on last Thursday and it's been hell ever since.

Another update: The built in Android calendar reflects correctly on all of my appointments, so it must be an issue with DO's calendar somewhere.

Michael, I see that tech support has reached out to you, and that you asked for a refund. I expect that to be processed shortly. I'm sorry for the problems you have been having.
