    Lost Shortcuts! 3.2.27 (Build 881)

Got a message from Support today with directions to replace the shortcuts as version 3.2.27 (881). Apparently the "New Interface" deleted the "Shortcuts" option from the Home screen.
    Their message -----
"Please open DejaOffice and go to Settings > General Settings and uncheck New Interface. When you return to the main DejaOffice screen the option for shortcuts should be on the main DejaOffice screen again. Place your shortcuts, then if you wish, return to Settings > General Settings and re-enable the new interface."

    Lee, welcome to the forum!

We are going through the process of questioning every menu item. I had this taken off because I figured no one used it. The better way to place shortcuts is to start from the Android Desktop, long-press, go to Apps and Widgets, and select DejaOffice 1x1. This gives more options.

I see that you use it, so we will restore this in the next update.

I'll need to make a note. This shortcuts screen does not work on all Android OS versions. But starting from Android Desktop does work on all versions.

I miss the 'Home' when going through the DejaOffice 1x1.

          Djocto;

Now on 3.2.28 / 885. Shortcuts are gone again the the option for "Use New Interface" is gone. I don't want to have to open the 1x1 and then select the individual shortcut. I want the calendar and contacts on the desktop replacing the Android Calendar and Contacts.

NEVER MIND> See the Shortcuts on the 3.2.28 / 885 Setup wizard menu.

            Upgrade to released 3.2.28 (885):
            - Replaced new style shortcuts to calendar, contacts and notes on desktop with old style ones
            - Replaced new style sync shortcut with a general DJO one
            - Headings in all apps are way too large
            - Some previously already translated (German) strings have gone and are back to English (Font sizes)
            .. going to try 894

              894:
              - Homescreen absolutely unusable. Only blue with sync info's on full(!) screen. Some(!) of the icons are visible when held in landscape.
              - Rest as with 885.
              ... since 881 only steps back ...

The status bar should be fixed now in the inhouse release (895). Sorry about that.
