    Alarms not sounding after sync

I've been using DejaOffice for at least 3 years. Over the past several days it seems my alarm notifications are not working on my Samsung Galaxy S5. I noticed it this morning after using CompanionLink to sync with Outlook on my desktop. (They were working fine this morning until I synced.) The alarms work fine on my desktop but not on my phone. When I restart my phone, all the alarms that did not sound, are presented all at once.

On another note. Why do my shortcuts disappear from my home screen after an update? Not really an issue. Just annoying.

Thanks for your help with the alarm issue.

    Pastor Bill,

Two things, both as a result of an Android OS Update

    1. After an Android update, the phone reboots. However, for some reason it does not run the Boot start processes. So the DejaOffice background app does not get restarted to set the alarms. A second reboot does this. That's why the alarms got delayed.

    2. Android Shortcuts - They generally don't survive an OS update. Simple shortcuts are kept, but our advanced shortcuts and widgets are deleted on major OS updates. I'm thinking this is intentional by Google/Samsung, but it certainly is annoying. Just place them back while being thankful that your phone is getting updated more than any other phone has ever been updated.

Thanks for the information and clarifications!

Since I'll have to reboot after any OS update, having the shortcuts disappear will be good reminder.
