How to create a Memo shortcut

How to add/create a memo shortcut in Android Pixel 2 phone. It's not available in the settings wizard as it used to be.

On Android Desktop, Long press to get "Widgets". Find DejaOffice on the Widgets list. Under DejaOffice, select "Shortcut 1x1" and place it on the android desktop. When you place it, a long list pulls up to select which shortcut you want.

Android deprecated our ability to add shortcuts from the App, so it is removed from the App. You have to use Androids method from now on.

What OS is your Pixel 2 on? We have reports that there are problems with Android Oreo.
