Deja Office is crashing on my S10

everytime I retrieve a contact, the screen goes black and returns to the previous screen. I get a message prompting me to leave feedback, which I have done, but it is getting worse, and happens everytime I select almost any function from the menu.
I've cleared my cache (which deleted all calendar entries). What can be done to fix this? Will I have to delete the app and restore all contacts from a back-up that I emailed to myself?
