All Field Search

When I search for info on a Calendar Event, the results don't include info on all field's. In the Settings, Search All fFields is checked.

I searched for an item that was on the Company field and it wasn't found DUO 4.4.28 (1180)

I just tried this, and it worked fine for me. I added some nonsense text to a note in a calendar event, and it searched up fine.

Are you doing a multi-word search?

Noted: The results list does not show the notes. But if you open the item, it will show the search text highlighted in the note. Are you looking for something in the results list?

When I search for something on the "Company "field, nothing is found.

When I search for info on the " Company " field nothing is found on the Calendar but is found on the Contact.

We are discussing the best way forward for Company Name search in Calendar on our end. Currently the Calendar search is not able to "reach through" the contact linked to the Event to read Company Name. In the mean time, the Contact Name is searchable via the Calendar. If the Company Name you are looking for is also linked to a "Named" Contact, if the "Search" option for Calendar is set to All Fields, this will work. To ensure Calendar search is set correctly:

1. Open DejaOffice
2. Tap Settings
3. Tap Calendar Settings
4. Select Search and set it to "All Fields"

Now searching for the linked Contact Name in events will display results correctly.

Sometimes I need to search something in the Calendar if I don't remember the Contact Name. I know an event happened but there may be info in the Contact data I need to find. I appreciate you looking into this matter.
