    Viewing Tasks in Calendar

One of the things I really appreciate about Outlook is the ability to view Tasks below the Calendar for each day. For DJO it is probably not practical in most instances to try to show Tasks below the Calendar other than in Day view, but I also have a few thoughts on other ways Tasks could be displayed. The following are my various ideas....
This would be in the popup settings menu for the Calendar and would work similar to the "Show Completed" option. If it is checked/pinned then when in Day view Tasks for that Day would be displayed in a manually re-sizable panel below the Day's events, and in Tablet mode this re-sizable panel would reside below the panel that displays the Event Details. Perhaps there could be a little toggle button to collapse and expand this section as well (ie, so one could have the panel set to display, but might choose to leave it collapsed and just expand it occasionally, while others might choose to leave it expanded and occasionally collapse it). When collapsed it should indicate through text or an icon presence/absence whether there are Tasks for that Day.
This would be in the same Calendar menu as commands like "Today" and "Go To Date". Tapping it would open a scrollable modal window (ie, a popup) with all the Tasks for that Day. Ideally the arrangement (eg, sorting, grouping) would be configurable specifically for the Calendar (ie, DejaToday and DejaTasks each have their own settings for Sorting, etc. and so should this). There should also be a button in this popup that would take one to the actual DejaTasks subapp, filtered or scrolled to Today. And of course one should be able to open Tasks, edit them, etc. from launching them from the popup.
Simplest option would be adding a "Today" (and "Go To Date") button in the popup menu for DejaTasks, which would scroll the user to the appropriate time period in the list. It would/could also be nifty to be able to temporarily filter the viewed Tasks by Dates (both date ranges and specific non-adjacent dates), including an easy button for Today.
I realize that DejaToday gets at some of this, but the above extends the functionality much further by making it easy to see Tasks related to any date, which can be extremely useful (to me, anyway) when planning ahead as I can see not just what appointments I have but also any Tasks I was planning to do that Day. I think adding the above features could be very powerful additions to DJO.
