DejaOffice settings to work with LightFlow?

Hi there - is anyone using LightFlow with DejaOffice? If so, can you advise your Alarm settings in DejaOffice and notification settings in native Android and LightFlow?

I've successfully used LightFlow to manage sound, LED and vibration notifications for years. I recently started using DejaOffice and can't get the notifications to trigger at the right times. I've tried a LOT of different settings and cannot figure it out.

Any suggestions would be appreciated - R.

    Rooster,

If the Notifications are not ringing at the correct time, this sounds like the Android Battery Monitor. Check the following guide to add DejaOffice to the Un-Monitored apps list:

    Any change?

Hi Thomas - many thanks for your response. A variation of that did it! At least, for LED and sound. Vibration still not being triggered at all but that must be a LightFlow issue. Unless there is a Vibration setting somewhere in DejaOffice I'm unaware of?

The trick is that DejaOffice was already set to not optimise the battery, but LightFlow was, so I shut that off.

As an FYI for anyone else reading this thread, Thomas' link describes setting battery optimization with a Samsung. With my Nexus running stock Android 10 the route was Settings > Apps and Notifications > select desired app > Advanced > Battery > All Apps > select desired app > ensure it's set to "Don't optimize". Please note that I also had to turn DejaOffice Persistent alarms off (in DejaOffice Settings > Alarm Settings > Persistent uncheck).

Have tested this now twice and it works. Fingers crossed for real world usage.

And again, many thanks - this has been driving me nuts! I have such a terrible memory my alarms have just got to work.

      - R.
