    Category colours

    Hello,

Are you planning on adding a feature which allows us to choose our own colours for categories, not be restricted to the 25 fixed colours?
Either by colour wheel or by entering RGB codes?
I find the 25 colours pretty ugly, too washed out and dull.
Now that we can have an unlimited number of categories it would be great to have free colour choice.

Thanks for adding this to the requested features list, some time...
Regards and all the usual praise for the great work you all do.

In a word, no. Colors have not been an issue lately.

I'm pretty tied to the 25 colors. This matches Outlook and has become a standard for us. The problem with "Set your own color" is that it doesn't match on PC vs Phone, and also that Colors have become much richer on the newer phone screens.

On this worksheet, DPC, DJOA and DJOI colors are all labeled DJO-2018 which is when we adopted the current theme.

What I would consider is to make another NEW color set of 25, that would be like an "alt color" scheme. If I did that, which colors (from our sheet) do you dislike, and what colors should we replace them with?

Thanks for your response and the colour list.

I'll try and make a list with the colours I like and send it to you. It's not that I don't like the 25 , I just find them too pale, or washed-out.
I personally prefer, bright, crisp colour hues.

Some of colours, like the greens, are too similar, there should be a bigger difference between hues in the same colour group.

I do realise that colours, like flavours, very much depend on one's personal preferences.
      Many thanks anyway

        Hello,

I have worked on the list of colours,
I don't know if the result would be suitable.

Can I send you the attachments via private message?

        Let me know.

        Have a lovely week-end !

You can email to me at wayland@companionlink.com

We use these colors (on the bottom of this page). As I recall the colors are the 500 level and the 800 level or something like that.

I like the current colors. I don't see any need to change them?

That is why it would be great to be able to choose one's own colours. Not everyone syncs with Outlook.
