Recurring Events - Sync moving up one day

I just submitting this issue to Support. In the meantime, I thought I'd see if anyone in the forum has a solution. I am using Companionlink ver 4, build 4018, USB version. I had Dejaoffice, version 1.7.4. I am running Vista 64 bit. I have Microsoft Outlook version 2007. I have a Droid 2.

After having trouble keeping the recurring events in sync, I decided to sync from the PC to the Droid, with the purge option. All went just fine and both units were in great sync. Then, I set up the sync for sync both ways. ALL my Droid recurring dates in Dejaoffice Calendar were shifted one day sooner.

Is this a known bug? Anybody have any ideas for solutions?

I'm in the trial period and have just a few days left. A great product, but this issue has to be resolved. Also, I'd like wireless sync, but not with any addional fees.....this should be an expected enhancement.

    Thanks,

Augie; what time zone do you have on your PC, and what time zone is on your phone? Are they matched up?

The wireless sync is for a specific type of business customer who deals with HIPAA compliance or similar need for high security. We will launch the Wi-Fi sync for Android soon; maybe Friday, and that will not incur a monthly fee. Both Hosted Wireless Wi-Fi are already available for our iPhone product.

Great question! I checked and see that both units are on EST. Even the recurring dates I have for this month (before the time change) also are one day sooner.

Great news on the Wi-Fi sync, I'll just love that

I don't see any more responses. Does this mean that nobody else is having problems with synching Outlook Calendar recurring events with DejaOffice Calendars on a Droid 2? Then I must have some kind of setup error. In Settings/Date & Time, I tried the Automatic setting as well as specifically stating EST. I have the same problem with both settings, the future recurring dates are one day sooner.

If nobody else is having this issue, what settings are you using? Is this a known bug that everyone is tolerating and not using recurring events? Any help appreciated.

        Thanks,

        Augie

Just in case there really is anyone out there with the same problem.............Support provided me with the solution today. I just needed to go into Setup/Accounts and select the Google account and uncheck the synch to the calendar. Just that simple Thanks to Support....they were quite responsive....Kudos! I will purchase this product.

This is great...I just unchecked the Google sync and my sync issues were also resolved....well almost.

I can now cleanly and accurately sync data both ways, but with one caveat; I can't transfer my category color coding. I am syncing to Palm v4.2 that I have assigned specific color categories for contacts and calendar events, but the transferred data in my phone loses all the color categories in the transfer. Any ideas. Thank you.
