After upgrade to CompanionLink f. Outlook DejaOffice calendar not working any more

I just upgraded from CompanionLink USB (build 4018) to CompanionLink for Outlook (build 4020) and now, after the first sync with the new version, Deja Calendar will always crash with an "The application .... has stopped unexpectedly".

I then tried another sync "Outlook to Android" with the "Purge and reload" checkbox set, but same result afterwards. What's a bit suspicious is, that the progressbar counts up to about 300 very quickly and then the sync is done, even though the bar has reached only maybe 30% of its length.

Any idea, how to help DejaCalendar stand up again?

Un- and reinstall of DejaOffice on my Android phone fixed the issue.

What I noted doing so: All calendar and contacts were still found after the re-install. That means, that DejaOffice is NOT properly removing its data files on uninstall as it should do. While this was convenient in my case, since it saved me from having to do a full re-sync after the reinstall, IMHO this is a problem, because had one of these data files been corrupted, then how would one get this app up and running again if even an de- and re-install doesn't help? A program's uninstall should also remove its data files (at least it should ask whether to do so)!

Just my 2 cents of wisdom...

I am not on Companionlink 4021 and DO 1.8 Beta, but this problem started happening as of my last upgrade to DO 1.7.4. At When DejaCalendar, I can look at the Week and Month views and they appear immediately, however when I go to either the Day or List views, these are empty, UNLESS I click on Menu, then TODAY, which refreshes the screen and I can see the data in Day or List mode. Quite annoying. I have done full reinstalls of all Droid and Desktop software, no change.

I had the same problem yesterday. I upgraded to DejaOffice for Outlook, synced my Samsung Galaxy S (Vibrant) phone with Outlook and was able to view Deja Calendar on my phone ONCE. Later in the day when I tried to view Deja Calendar, I received the error message: "The application DejaOffice (process com.companionlink.clusbsync) stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." I kept receiving this error message. I uninstalled DejaOffice from my phone and reinstalled it. That fixed the issue.
