DejaOffice and MS Outlook Business Contact Manager

    Hello,

I was wondering if the Business Contact Manager in DejaOffice functions/acts/performs the same or nearly the same as on the PC. Example: Sync custom fields, history items, sort with multiple categories, sort info from custom fields, etc;.

I have purchased and installed and having been using Companionlink's software and have been syncing Outlook 2007 with DejaOffice on my new Samsung Fascinate Android phone.

So far it is working pretty good although I have noticed a few funky things in regards to calendar and contacts.

Also wondering if I can do an upgrade instead of the full $129.95.

Any help anyone can give I will be so appreciate. So far I have put about 5 or more days straight into researching this and while there is abundant info regarding DejaOffice and Outlook, there doesn't seem to be with DejaOffice and Outlook's BCM.

    Thanks again,
    Diana

    dlolley welcome to the forums.

I'm afraid I don't understand your question. Can you ask it more clearly?

CompanionLink Sync handles BCM just fine. It contains special logic for various BCM features, just as with Outlook.

      Hello again,

I finally got everything all figured out and it works pretty good now. I noted that when I enter a "phone log" within a contact within Outlook, that that syncs within the contact on the DejaOffice. That is fine. Everything and latest history is all right there in addition to the "custom fields" I made. My question is and I've tried to figure this out on my own...is there a way to enter a "phone log" within DejaOffice instead of having to do it within Outlook? I love the feature of interconnecting contacts with task and calendar events that is great! the only thing is...is that I would like to be able to enter everything I need to enter into the DejaOffice out on the road instead of having to come back to the office and having to enter new information into the phone log in Outlook on the computer.

      Thanks,
      Diana
