I am using Companionlink for Outlook on an Android device (Epic 4G), which has DejaOffice installed. I find it a little confusing when I see "reading Android data" on the handheld as synching progresses. Does this really mean "reading DejaOffice data" or "reading Android native applications data" or both? I had unchecked to synchronize with my Google accounts, and I can't tell if this means it is synchronizing to the native applications or not, and if I will end up with duplicates.
Synchronizing - Perhaps Terminology Can Be Tweaked

Thanks for all your replies. You have great customer support. One follow-up question: If I want to be able to quickly use Android contacts to dial a phone number, and I don't care about Google synchronization, should I set up the phone to save frequently-used contacts to the phone and not the Google account, and then periodically synch them into the Dejaoffice contacts? Am I correct that Dejaoffice now allows direct phone dialing from the contacts?

I think what all want to do is to be able to enter the last name on the number keys in the dialer and have the contact selected from DJO data. It appears to me that the dialer only accesses onboard data, so you have to sync outlook data to both the DJO contacts and the onboard contacts to get reasonable dialer functionality. I cannot get DJO to sync the data to the onboard contacts -- I have to click 'read android data' after each sync.Originally posted by DJOCTO View PostDejaContacts allows direct dialing. Just click on the contact, and then click on the phone number to dial.
