DJO no longer triggering Companionlink (Galaxy S)

    Hello
I used to sync my Galaxy S with two different PC with no problem, using Companionlink (CL) 4.0 and DJO 1.9.4
Yesterday, I upgraded to DJO 1.9.8, and I could't sync any longer. The problem is that I open CL on my PC, but It doesn't seem to be triggered par DJO, as it used to be (saying : "reading Outlook contacts", and so on..). In fact nothing happens with CL on the PC, though the phone is well connected (since a popup shows up on the PC, asking me what I want to do with the phone files). Djo keeps saying "wait for the PC to finish" (or something like that). But the PC never finishes. It doesn't even start ..! No data are transferred.
Then I came back to DJO 1.9.4, but with no avail.
I have checked the phone settings. Everything seems to be normal : "usb debugging" not checked, "mass storage" checked. And when I mount the sd card, I am able to browse the phone files on my PC with no problem.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled DJO and CL many times.
I have tried to establish a link with three PCs (one with vista, one with XP, one with Wseven), with no results, though it used to work a few days ago with each of them.
So I guess there is something wrong with the phone settings or DJO settings. But what, and why ?
    Many thanks for your help.

I do no have problems using the new versions besides the fact that DJO almost always try to sync Android contacts even if nothing has changed : "Updating Android Contacts" !

XP FR / Outlook 2007 / DJO 1.9.8 + CLP 4.0.4026 paid license / Samsung Galaxy S / Android 2.2 / Settings = 30 days back + sync both ways + sync deletions + sync alarms + cleared records + native Android contacts sync but no Google sync
