    Samsung Galaxy Tab

    Hello All,

Am starting this thread, as there is no specific thread for the Samsung Galaxy Tab (GT for short).

The GT is an incredible device, quality hardware, wonderful display, small enough to carry around, big enough to enjoy ebooks, full browsing, and ofcourse the wonderful Droid 2.2 Froyo experience.

CompanionLink & Deja Office are by far the most important applications I am using due to the 4 different methods of synchronizing with Outlook 2010 x64 on windows 7x64. WIFI synching between PC and GT work seamlessly. I am an avid and experienced smart phone user (Windows Mobile, BB, iphone, and now Android), so recognize good value, quality, performance, and reliability when i see it. Hence I am staying with the Galaxy Tab for a while;-)

I do not currently sync with google mail at all, and do not plan on using any part of the cloud for my Droid<-> PC synchronization needs. Hence the importance of companionlink and Deja Office.

I am however, still having several problems with Deja Office on Galaxy Tab e.g. correct display of contacts and other issues such as crashing. (I'll describe more in further posts)

Tech support has been very fast in responding and trying to locate and identify the problem, but are still working on it.

Does anybody else have GT experiences with Deja Office/Companionlink at all?

    Best Regards

    GT-ABMAI

Samsung Galaxy Tab and Android Calendar

I just synced my calendar the other day. Everything shows up correct in DejaOffice as far as I can tell but the calendar entries in the default calendar are 1 hour off. I checked the time zone settings and they both match as far as I can tell. The only difference is that the Tab used GMT and Windows 7 uses UTC.
