Syncing DejaOffice to gmail or yahoo contacts

I absolutely love the DejaOffice software on my ipad running iOS5 but have tried for 2 days to get my contacts to sync between gmail contacts or yahoo contacts. I have been able to get the contacts from yahoo to load in the Dejacontacts but it will not sync when I make changes. I have tried the icloud and every way i can possibility think of... any help would be much appreciated... thanks
