DejaOffice for Apple devices does not yet support recurring tasks. DejaOffice for Android does - as you know, since you've reported a number of issues to us about them.
I've recently installed DejaOffice 1.4.6, which claims to support recurring tasks, but how do they work? If I mark a task Recurring, and specify and interval, the only difference I see is a little loop symbol at the left end of the title. It may be that I haven't learned how to use this feature, but I'm still in the dark about a few things:
- When a recurring task is completed for the current interval, how do I tell DJO that it's done?
- Does the present instance of the task disappear and a new one appear for the next instance? if so, when?
For example, I set up a task to recur Daily. When I completed it for that day, it continued to show as due on that day. The next day, it was still there, until I manually reset the due date. If I have to do that what's the advantage of having recurring tasks? What am I missing?

Reason: Wanted to emphasize DJO 1.4.6
- Does the present instance of the task disappear and a new one appear for the next instance? if so, when?
A new will appear as soon as the old one is marked complete.
If you're not seeing this, make sure that the recurring end date for the task is later than the task's due date. If the recurring end date is the same or earlier as the due date, then we assume it's the last instance, and won't spawn a new one.
Yes, I'm seeing the new task appear, but I still have a problem with the completed task disappearing. Unless I just am not doing it right someway, the completed one stays there, greyed out, until I delete it. It's easier to change a completed task's date than to make it recurring -- ??
bhutton - Yes, that's correct; if you complete it it stays in the database as a completed task (grayed out) until you delete it. Try turning off "Show completed" in DejaTask Settings, which should hide the completed (grayed out) ones.
