multiple outlook calendars to iPhone 5

Hi All. I use Outlook 2010 to manage two separate calendars, each associated with their own account on Outlook. I want to sync each of these calendars with the native calendar on my iPhone 5 so that they are separate calendars on my iPhone. Is this at all possible? How?

I also have CompanionLink Pro so can manage a sync via DejaCloud. I have the DejaOffice app on my phone. My preference is that I end up with automatic wireless syncing. Can I use DejaOffice to sync each of my outlook calendars to the native calendar in my iPhone, or only to the DejaCal application calendar?

Thanks. Any help would be appreciated.

    wpeters, welcome to the forum.

With CompanionLink Pro, you can set up the second Calendar as a Category. I would suggest doing this from the PC to DejaCloud, and that way there is one connection from DejaCloud to your iPhone.

Thanks, DJOCTO. I still seem to be having some troubles configuring things. Do I need to create a separate profile in CompanionLink for each Outlook folder I want to sync?

wpeters - if the folders are really separate, yes.

CompanionLink will sync subfolders, so you can organize things in a master folder, with subfolders, and it will sync several folders with one setting. However, these all get associated with a single Category name.

A more effective system is a one-to-one mapping of Folder to Category using the Special Categories feature of Category Manager. This takes time to set up.

Your help has been very useful and appreciated but I still feel a bit like you are giving me clues to a puzzle I'm still having a hard time solving. In outlook 2010, I have multiple email accounts set up. I have an associated calendar with each of two of the email accounts-- one is "WDP Work Calendar", the other is "WDP Home Calendar". In each of these two calendars, I have created multiple categories which are different for each calendar. I am using CompanionLink Pro Version 5.0 Build 5058 (DJC None). Using the Category Manager in CL, I think you are telling me that I have to create two categories in CL-- one for each of the Outlook Calendars I want to sync, perhaps one called "WDP Work Calendar" and one called "WDP Home Calendar". For each of these new categories in CL, I set the "Application Settings" to point to the appropriate Outlook folder/calendar that I want to be associated with that CL category. My understanding is that for each outlook calendar, the multiple Outlook categories for that calendar will all map to the single newly created matching CL category, but the two calendars will be maintained separately in DejaCal via the two different CL categories. And, when I create an event on DejaCal and set it to one of the two CL categories, it will be synced back to the correct Outlook calendar.

This all seems straight forward to me but I am still having troubles getting this to work. Am I correct in my understanding? What am I missing?

Thanks for your patience and help.

          Wayne

            Wayne, you are exactly right.

When you add a new event, it will sync according to Category, and go into the associated folder.

Why don't you contact CompanionLink Tech support. You'll likely need a 2nd tier "expert" tech so ask for it. Nathan, Dean or Michael should be able to help you out with this...
