It seems that if I add a contact into DO and then sync, the record makes the country code +1 - is there any way to have this not happen? Even if I create the contact with a country of UK it still adds as +1
Thanks
iPad 3 and iPhone 4 both on iOs 7.03
DO Version on both devices: 1.5.5
CompanionLink Professional 5 (build 5072)
Act! 2012 (version 12.2.76.0)
Local WiFi sync on both devices
Jamie, my developer says there is nothing in DejaOffice to apply the +1 code.
Are you still using ACT! ? It may be Act adding the code. What version of ACT! are you using?
In many versions of ACT! the default country code is set by setting the "Work" phone number (the main one), of MyRecord to your own home country code. ACT! makes the assumptions that all other numbers will use this default country code.
Also in CompanionLink be sure you have set your Country code, which I see from prior tickets is UK +44.
What synch method are you using? This may also be relevant.
It should definitely be the case that when you enter 020-2323-2323 on the phone, on your PC it should not pick up +1 and should pick up +44.
BTW - For Outlook users in Contact Details, click Call -> New Call, then Dialing Options, and check your options there.
In Act, the my record phones are all set to free form and UK
In CL country code is set to UK as well
It only seems to happen on entries added through DO .... and although in act they are showing as UK , in DO they are showing as +1...

Can you give me an example of a number as you enter it:
For instance, in DejaOffice you enter ____-_____? Do you include a dash or any other punctuation? Or do you enter a number another way, by saving a call or looking up a map entry?
