Deja CRM purged Google and doubled ipad

Hi all,

now, I guess I am still under shock so I did not have the time to get angry. I have used CardDAV and CalDAV in Iphone and normal google on android. On my PC I have Outlook and the Google Calendar Sync Tool. Which worked without a hassle for over 3 years. I saw Deja CRM and though: Wow, I need to have this, because it allows me to manage my Contacts more easily and I just have a single tool to manage the sync for my three devices.

So far so good. However, I did exactly as told in the setup guides. first on android it started to double the entries by switching first and last name. Then it purged with iphone my whole google online calendar (by counting the contacts to infinity until I pressed cancel). In addition, my Outlook calendar has double calendar entries.

By all means, I don't think there is a scenario which is worse.

I saw during sync, that companionlink said "Backup Google Calendar".

So my first question: How do I get that first google calendar backup restored?
Second: Why did this happen and is there a fix?

Is CompanionLink on your PC set to go to Google, or to DejaCloud?

When you set up CompanionLink on your PC, did you turn off Google Sync?

CompanionLink can definitely be a good way to standardize your sync and your devices. In particular, DejaCloud sync is faster and better. However, it looks like you have a good mix of different sync technologies (CalDAV, Google Sync, Google Calendar Sync, CompanionLink). So adding one more tool does NOT make it simpler until you turn off the other tools.
