    Djo 1.6.2

It seems ever since I upgraded from DJO 1.6.0 I have had minor problems.

I did my first sync with 1.6.2 and all appears in order but the Journal entries. Although the total number of records are identical between PC and Device at the conclusion of the sync, the very latest record does not appear in DJO. To make it appear, reread of the PC needs to be done each time. When a Journal entry is deleted from the PC, and DJO is closed and then opened, it crashes everytime Journal is selected.

Using lastest build of CL. WiFi Sync.

    Thanks

    Jim

PS: Tried the debug feature. No help!

Jim, I sent this to the developer to check.

Jim - I think this issue is fixed in 1.6.3 (currently awaiting App Store approval). We noticed that this issue could happen in 1.6.1/1.6.2.

The issue was that the threading priority changed in the last iOS SDK update (DejaOffice 1.6.1 and higher), which could, on occasion, cause the list view cache to miss a newly added or deleted record. Version 1.6.3 should take care of this.

In the meantime, here's a work-around that should help:

      1. Open DejaContacts.
      2. Tap on the DejaContacts title bar header to open the settings list.
      3. Go to Sort.
      4. Change the "Ascending Sort Order" setting (i.e. if it's checked, uncheck it).
      5. Back out of DejaContacts.
      6. Open DejaJournal.

Changing the contact sort order in steps 1 - 5 tells DejaOffice to reload its list view cache (shared between contacts and journal), which should cause your missing record to show up.
