DejaOffice 1.7.0 to Outlook on PC problems since Daylight savings

    Hi:
I have noticed some threads relating to the daylight savings issue but most seem to have been resolved. Mine has occurred since the DST change.
    I have an old 3GS.
I make appointments in DejaOffice Calendar.
When I perform a Sync with Outlook 2013 on my computer it adds an extra hour to all appointments. It keeps the correct time on the phone but not for the appointments shown in Outlook. I have searched for a DST setting on the phone but cannot find one.
The computer settings are set correctly but maybe there is a setting that needs to be changed.
If you have knowledge of this problem and can shed some light it would be greatly appreciated as I currently have to adjust the times for my Outlook appointments.

    Thanks.

    Stevy42, welcome to the forums.

I don't have any other reports on this. So it's probably some settings that are pretty unique for you.

On your iPhone 3GS, what OS are you running? As I recall it shipped with iOS4, and is eligible for upgrades.

be sure you are using an updated CL5 or CL6 release.

What time zone are you in? Be sure you are set to the right time zone with the DST marker set on the PC.

      Hi DJOCTO:

      Thanks for your reply.
I have tried various settings but nothing has worked.
      Some specs:
The iphone 3gs I have runs iOS version 6.1.6.
      Latest dejaoffice (1.7.1)
Companion Link is version 6 (build 6014). [I did not notice this problem when I was using CL 5 but there are no settings for daylight savings in the software. I am unsure as to why it would affect the times].
      Windows 8.1
      Microsoft Office 2013

For the Daylight savings options in Windows 8.1 it is either on or off.
Time zone in Windows is the typical Eastern time zone
Time zone for iOS is Toronto

Prior to December of 2013 I used CL5, Windows 7, whatever the version of dejaoffice (1.6.x) and Office 2010.
I changed software (except dejaoffice & iOS) in December.
No problems with sync regarding times when it was on standard time.
Once Daylight savings took place (which is automatically handled in Windows 8.1, all syncs have been off by 1 hour for information entered in the iphone and then a sync performed. For example appointment in iphone is 3pm but when sync'd with Outlook 2013, it now populates the time in Outlook as 4pm.
I have learned to adjust but I did miss one appointment because I forgot to "adjust" the PC calendar entry.

      Any help would be appreciated.
      Thanks,
      Craig.

        Hi DJOCTO:

In further examining the time issue, it always happens when I have added an event on the iPhone and then I perform a sync. It maintains the correct time when you set the event in Outlook on the computer.

        Any information would be useful.
        Thanks,
        Craig.

Stevy - Can you try this with the latest version of DejaOffice on the App Store (1.7.3)? I think that new events should sync with the correct time in 1.7.3.

The issue we fixed in 1.7.3 was that, for certain time zones, DejaOffice was sending the DST info in a format that CompanionLink didn't understand. This could cause the time to appear an hour off on the PC.
