    Calendar Sync

    Hi --
    Today's calendar is strange - DJO/CL and Outlook *sometimes* agree, sometimes not:
    DJO/CL Outlook
    7:30 - check fridge 7:30 - Check Fridge

    ----------------------11:00 - Huddle

    2:00 - Check on Trlr -----------------
    2:00 - Firewood" 2:00 - Firewood

    9:15 - EOD 9:15 - EOD

    Not in DJO/CL: the Outlook 11:00 Huddle
    In DJO/CL but NOT in Outlook: 2:00 - Check on Trlr

    At this point I'm at a loss for explanation - and bumfuzzled as to how to understand or trust the sync.
    Any ideas?

    Gene1 I'm sorry to hear of the problems.

    1. Please check your subscription/license status. It sounds like the sync isn't running. It won't run if you are on the subscription service, and the subscription has expired.
    a. Go to File Register - and see what it says for status. If it is "now registered as", then you are good. But if it is "subscription expired" then you just need to resubscribe.

    2. Double check on the Outlook side if you have multiple folders. The most common problem people have is accidentally setting up sync to the wrong Outlook folder. Particularly if the outlook folder has the same name like Personal Folder or Default Folder. The way to clear this is to check Outlook, and make sure your folders have distinct names. Then re-set up CompanionLink to the right folder.

    3. If this doesn't help, give CompanionLink a call to go through settings. (503)243-5200 Hours 7am-4pm Pacific Time on Weekdays. We are pretty slammed this week for phone calls, so take the option to leave a message, and a tech will call you back.

      I'm mystified - I can't find "File" on DJO or "File, Register" on CL.
      FWIW, I purchased CL on 6/23/14, so I suppose the subscription/license should be OK. The CL Registration/Verify window shows:
      "Purchase found for CLO60/You are currently registered for Companion Link for Outlook 6.0", with a purchase ID 443233.
      CL Build: 6018
