Initial Capitals when dictating in Deja Office

When dictating in Deja office, is there a way to command initial capitals for each word in the string dictated?

I don't know of one offhand, so we may been to add some code to do it.

I played further with this feature. There was a time about 10 years ago when we had full voice transcription in DejaOffice so I was curious about it. We took out voice transcription because changes in the underlying Google library made maintenance difficult, and few people used it.

With google voice typing, there does not currently appear to be a way to capitalize a word. However, the first word after a period is capitalized. Also you can add a voice period by saying the word "period". this works for all punctuation; comma, semi-colon, exclamation point.

so you can say "This period is period a period car period" to get "This. Is. A. Car."

That looks like the best you can do with google voice typing. Please note there is an android setting for it in Android 13, so be sure it is turned on.
