JustLightning - Are you sure they're deleted? Try the following:
1. In DejaOffice, go to Settings -> General Settings -> Utilities.
2. Hit Reset View Cache. You should get a confirmation dialog showing that the cache was reset.
3. Go back into your calendar and see if your events are back.
If that doesn't work, can you tell me what sync method you're using (e.g. DejaCloud, WiFi Sync, etc), and what PC database you're syncing weith (e.g. ACT!, Outlook, Palm Desktop, etc).
Thank you Ben - all back - you are a lifesaver!!!!!
Whilst I have the attention of a member of the DejaOffice Team I wonder if you're able to assist me in another area. In Outlook the location field displays in the appointment in week view - so I can look at my diary and see exactly where I'm going for each appointment. But in DejaOffice I can only see the location if I open the appointment - it's not displayed in week view. Is there a setting I need to change. I do hope that makes sense.
I look forward to receiving another of your excellent replies!
JustLightning - Glad to hear everything's back. FYI you can use the backup feature in DejaOffice to make sure your data is recoverable if ever lost (Settings -> General Settings -> Backup Database).
It looks like we display event location info in the calendar day view, but not in week view. I think we can add it for week view though.
Can you tell me which week view you use? Regular week view (second icon from the left in the calendar tab bar) or week grid view (third icon from the left)?
JL - We'll add the location field for week view. It should be included in the release after next (the next release, 1.7.8, is already awaiting App Store approval).
Thanks Ben, the new version does indeed show the location field in the week view. Is there any reason it's in a different font/colour? This does make it rather difficult to read - any chance of making it the same as subject of the meeting?
JL
JL - Thanks for the feedback. The different font color was just to make it distinguishable from the subject text. We'll tweak it in 1.8.0 to make it more readable.
