Mondays marked with red numbers - why

I have a question: On top of the calendar view there is a Month-Year text. Tapping this calls up a tool to select a specific year and month (or Today).

The date numbers on this Tool for Mondays (and Mondays only) are red. Other date numbers are black.

Why is that??? I don't see the point.

In the normal calendar view ALL date numbers are black.

Settings for calendar have first day of the week = Monday.

erikl - Thanks for pointing this out. Mondays should not be red. I think it's just an oversight, due to having U.S. based programmers whose calendar weeks start on Sunday. It should be fixed in the next release.
