no synch between dejaoffice contacts and iPhone contacts

I am using this below described scenario for many years, but since yesterday it does not work anymore, so something must have changed but can not find what.

I have a Windows PC with Lotus Notes with my contacts and CompanionLink Express 5
PC and iPhone 5 connected on same LAN
Synch contacts into DejaOffice

The above still works,

but the contacts are only in DejaOffice visible,
no more visible in iPhone Contacts
I have 2000 contacts on my PC - I have a copy of 2000 in deja office - my iPhone contacts are 0
which means I can not select any contacts from phone, always need to go to dejaoffice.

What might be the cause of this ?
How to solve ?

urbain - Is the native account syncing with iCloud? In our experience, iCloud accounts can sometimes modify synchronized data in unexpected ways (including deleting it). That would be my guess as to what happened, since the records are all in DejaOffice but not in the native contacts.

Here are instructions that should fix it:

1. In DejaOffice, go to the Categories app.
2. Tap on the "Categories" title in the title bar and hold for two seconds. This should open the hidden debug screen.
3. In the debug screen, scroll to the "DejaContacts" section and choose "Clear Native Ids".
4. Go back to the DejaOffice home screen.
5. Go to DejaOffice Settings -> Sync -> Sync With Apple's Contacts Settings, then choose "Reread DejaOffice Contacts".
6. Close, then re-open DejaOffice to trigger a sync with Apple Contacts.

I'll also note that if the native contacts is an iCloud account we recommend switching to a non-iCloud one in order to avoid the problem in the future.

No sync between DJO contacts and iPhone contacts

I also have a problem in syncing between DJO and the iPhone contacts.

I am using CLPDT70 to synch between my iPhone and Palm Desktop 4
Here are the version details:

CompanionLink Version 7 (build 7050)
DejaOffice 2.1.9 on my iPhone 6s
Windows 10 professional 64 bits
iTunes 12.7.1.14
iPhone 6S with iOS 11.1.2

When I sync with CompanionLink, the Pc is leading; I never
make changes or additions on the phone, but always do them
on the Pc in Palm Desktop.

Here is the problem:

I just found, that when I sync the iPhone with Palm Desktop
using CompanionLink, that the new contacts from the Pc are
correctly synced with DejaOffice, but that they don't sync with
the Apple contacts application.

The implication is, that I only can call those contacts from DejaOffice and also
that the phone might not recognise a number if that number is not in my iPhone contacts.

I found a hint in the forum, (althoug that was a few years old)

What should I do to get my DejaOffice contacts to sync with my iPhone contacts.
