Newb. DejaCal icon or others outside of DejaOffice??

Greetings. I recently started using DejaOffice with my iPhone6, after migrating from being one of the last Palm Treo 680 users on the planet last month. I still use Palm Desktop and Companion Link so thanks to all the developers that kept that going...

I am embarrassed to ask this, but here it goes...

Is there a way to have a DejaCal or DejaContacts icon on my iPhone main page as well as within the DejaOffice icon/folder/app? It would save me from constantly having to hit "DejaOffice", then "DejaCal" if I could directly go to "DejaCal".

In the Android version you can add various shortcuts from the DejaOffice home screen. Check to see if this option is available in the Apple version.

Welcome to the forums. Unfortunately this is something that Apple does not permit.We agree that this would be a helpful feature and in fact we did offer this feature for a short time, but Apple forced us to remove it.

Thanks Chris. That is interesting for sure. I wonder what Apples objection to it is rooted in.

Corkyduke, as far as I know, Apple just doesn't have shortcuts.

I heard a rumor that they may allow people to hide icons in iOS 10. That's 10 versions, and the farthest they've gotten is to hide some icons on the alphabetical list. That's a far cry from Android 2 which allowed you to choose and arrange shortcuts on a desktop screen.

I guess if you work at Apple, you only have 5 apps loaded anyway. Unlike my phone....
