Syncing tasks

I have set my tasks synchronisation settings to "Outlook to iPhone".
This is because I want my professional tasks to show on my iPad, but to keep my personal tasks only on my iPad.
However, the sync does set my personal tasks on my Outlook and when I delete them there, deletes them at next sync from my iPad.

Does anyone know how I can resolve this?

Can I ask what method you are using to sync? Is it Wi-Fi or wireless?
