    Can I put the Deja Office PC Stand Alone on TWO PC's

    Hi
    I have the Deja Office PC Stand Alone - latest Build 1404 on my Windows 7 laptop computer.
    BUT - I bought a Windows 10 laptop - as a back-up and of course b/c the Win 7 is starting to have issues etc. etc.
    I downloaded the program onto the Win 10 - But can't sync or do anything
    I originally was from the PALM desktop world - which is how I found this product and have been using Companion link since I went to Android from Palm Phone.
    My question - can I run it on TWO computers? Or is that not possible?
    AND if NOT - I assume I have to buy another license - if that is the case HOW do I make sure I can back up my ONE ANDROID phone - on both computers - in other words I want everything to be synced up nice and neat (So to speak)

    You can use DejaOffice PC CRM Standalone on up to 3 PCs with the same license. On the new PC, install the PC CRM from our downloads page:



    Then in the Settings, under Registration, enter the Name and Email you used to purchase DPC Standalone.

    For syncing with two PCs, this would depend on your Sync Method between the PC CRM and DejaOffice on the Mobile. If you are using DejaCloud, you only need to select DejaCloud as the sync method (under Mobile) on the Sync Settings of the PC CRM, then enter your login and password. This is the recommend sync method for multiple devices\PCs. You can still accomplish the same with USB or Wifi, but in this case the phone is the "Middleman", so you would need to sync PC 1 to the phone, then PC 2 to the phone to get changes all the way across.

    Let me know your current sync method and I can send some further steps.

      HI - I have twist on this question. I added another Win10 computer downloaded v1430 did my settings, identical with the first machine, with DejaCloud as sync mode everything smooth as glass except at the bottom of the database settings the Record Count of Contacts, Events, Tasks, etc. are different between the two machines. The first machine also Win10 v1430. Some of the differences are small some are large.

      I also find different numbers on my Android Phone and Tablet DejaOffice Apps, I am not syncing natively only with DejaOffice.

      Please let me know what you think or what additional info you want.

        For Events and Tasks there is a unique Date Range setting which controls how far back to sync. Open the Settings in DPC > Sync Settings > Settings under DejaCloud and find the Calendar Tab. Set that date range to as far back as you think you have data (or 999999). Next find the Applications tab and put a check in Reread DejaCloud. Click Ok and sync. This should bring in the missing records. DejaCloud does have some duplicate prevention logic, so the counts might not match exactly via sync.
