    DJOPC on Linux using Wine

    Hi support team,
I may be the first to try this, but my home computers are Linux desktops. So I want to use DJOPC under Wine on Linux. DJOPC for Windows certainly has some basic requirements from the OS, such as .NET at a minimum version. I presume the program is 64 bit. If you can give me some requirements, I can configure a Wine instance and give it a try. I'll be happy to post the details if I can get it working.

As a long time DJO user, I've got many years of data and contacts on my phone, as does my wife. Long ago, I used Companion Link to sync with an office PC, but that is over. If I can get DJOPC to run under Linux, my sync capability will be back.

Did you ever figure this out? I d wish there was a native Linux version of DJOCRM, or at least a properly updated web version.

      Hook,

We do have plans to update the CRM Live later in the year, but still no plans for a linux version of DPC.

Correction - DPC already runs under Linux-Wine. However, it has a dependency on WPF so it needs to be the most recent version of Wine.

I think this would be good for DejaCloud users who use both Windows and Linux, like I do. I know it's probably too small a customer base for you folks, but anything you can do to make the webUI better would be appreciated. It doesn't have to be a lot of features, but I would love it if it more closely resembled the desktop DJOCRM UI... I'd like to have, for instance, a monthly calendar with no contacts on screen where I can read all the apointments like I can on my Windows desktop (I am my wife's home health care front office and I need to be able to see and read a month at a time while setting up appointments).

DJOCTO I haven't had a need to get into Wine. I will for this if it turns out that is the only good solution, but so far I have done well by, with rare exceptions, trying to use only programs that are cross-platform for Windows-Linux-Android. It's easier than it used to be, For instance, I no longer use Microsoft Office, but have switched to Softmaker Office (did that in 2016). For me, with DejaCloud (and, really, folks, why would you not... it is so easy and reliable), having a basic web version would be all I need on Linux. I'm not looking for something full-featured enough that it would compete with your windows version, just good enough that I can look stuff up. Thanks for all you folks do.
