    DejaOffice and number of contacts

I have Goldmine and 700000 registers and more, but dejaoffice only supports 40000 contacts or registers.

Exist any other solution with more contacts ?

    Aprengo, welcome to the forum.

We actually don't have a fixed limit in the software, however, sync speeds can get slow.

With Goldmine, we suggest making a Filter or a Group of your most needed contacts. That way you can cut the number down to under 40k which should work just fine.

              Aprengo, I don't know. We haven't tried.

I doubt the phone has enough speed to handle such a large database. A phone is not a PC, and the memory is much slower.

You will have better success making a filter for the contacts to put on the phone.

Yes. Most tablets are just as powerful as the phones, and will run DejaOffice.

Rather I try to mean : Is a tablet more powerful than a PC ? Or is rather like a phone ?

In my experience, tablets are less powerful.

The most expensive component of a device is the screen. So when there is a larger screen, often the chip and memory power is reduced, to keep the overall price down. This is not always the case, but it is common.

Here's a link comparing Galaxy Tab 7 with Galaxy S4. You can see the S4 has a 50% faster processor, much more memory, and better camera:

Following Moore's law, next year's phone will be twice as fast and have more memory than this year's phone, for the same price.
