    Reinstall on new PC

    Hi,

I have been using CompanionLink for many years to synchronize my PC (Windows and Outlook 2019) with my Android device and everything works seamlessly.
I have recently changed my PC and now I need to synchronize Outlook and Android on my fresh new PC.
What is the best procedure to do this?
After reinstalling CompanionLink on a new PC, do I need to synchronize for the first time (One-way - Outlook to device)?
    Thanks for help,

    Daniel

    Daniel,

If the old Phone still has data on it, and Outlook data is best on the new PC, I would recommend Wiping and Reloading the Android on the first sync. You can find these options in the Settings of CompanionLink > Advanced in the bottom left then find the Applications tab. On the right enable each of the Wipe options. Return to the main menu and Sync. This will be a One Way sync for the first one and after one sync completes, the Wipes will automatically uncheck.

        Hi,
I have reinstalled and synchronized Outlook with DejaOffice, but unfortunately, DejaOffice CRM changed my phone format and removed most of my leading zeros.

        Any help please?
        Thank you,
        Daniel

On the PC in CompanionLink Settings > Advanced > At the top find the Phone Format Tab. Make sure Clear Leading 0 is not checked. If it was uncheck it, under the Applications tab, in the bottom left put a check in Reread Outlook. Run another sync, then check the mobile data.

            Hi Thomas,
            Thank you for your reply.
It was already unchecked. I tried all the different possibilities, and it worked.
