    App Missing After Backup and Restore

    Hi - I am new to this forum. I am hoping someone can help. A couple days ago I did a back up and restore on my Galaxy S3 4.3 I backed up my apps using Kies. I did a factory reset - and then a restore. Most of my apps restored. The problem with Deja Office is, it isn't showing on my phone anywhere. I have checked in App Manager and it doesn't show. I went to Google Play to see about re-downloading it - I can't - it says it is already installed. I can't get anywhere with this. I tried running Companion Link to see if that would somehow miraculously restore the app - no joy. I then did a battery pull and still no luck.

    I would really appreciate any help anyone could give me.

          The support staff is not around officially on week-ends, although they sometimes will show up.

          When you look in the app manager, did you check under "All." When you go to Google Play, if it says it is installed, it should also offer the opton to uninstall it. Did you try that?

          The one other thing you can try is sideloading Deja Office, if you know how to do that. You would have to check the box under security for unknown sources and the point your mobile browser to:

          Download DejaOffice for Android
          http://www.dejaoffice.com/androidapp/
          Download the DejaOffice app for Android phones and tablets


          and download directly to your Nexus 5. It should install over whatever you have (or don't have).

          This sounds like a Kies problem not a Deja Office problem. I only had one Samsung device and refused to install Kies so I'm not much help there.

              I downloaded from dejaoffice.com and installed directly to my S3. I really appreciate your help, and now have everything synced back to my phone.

                  I did as you suggested and downloaded from DejaOffice directly to my phone and installed it. It is all working great now.
