DJO and PalmDT are literally out of sync with each other

I'm not sure what I've done to cause this**, but I'd like to wipe out all of Deja Office in my phone and make a fresh start. What are the recommended steps? Just uninstall DJO from the phone, get a new copy, and then sync again, rereading all from Palm?

I'm doing USB syncs for the summer (away from wifi most of the time), and I've tried to follow the steps you've given me before.

** I recently had a couple of USB syncs that didn't seem to finish properly - not sure why. I wasn't getting the usual message at the end in DJO.

    Thanks,
    Marjory

DJO currently at 4.4.61, build 1597
    Palm Desktop V. 4.2
    CL build 10036
    Windows 10

    Marjory,

An uninstall and a reinstall with a Reread of Palm would be easiest.

For USB remember to always unplug the cable before checking the data, this ensures the PC has "let go" of the phone properly.

We are working on a new USB Sync for version 11 of CompanionLink.

Thanks - it's in process of doing the re-read now. I do try to be careful about unplugging it (since the last episode) and thought I had done it all correctly today.

Is it feasible to download the install file to my computer, and keep it there in case I need it again - and somehow reinstall it from there to the phone? I'm going to be mostly offline the next few days - no internet service at the house where I'll be.

It will always be on the app store, but it doesn't hurt to have the APK for the mobile app. If you download the APK to the phone's documents or downloads folder you can always direct install on the Phone by tapping the apk file.

We have a hosted link at the following page we keep updated with the App Store one:

          https://www.dejaoffice.com/androidapp/

Tap the Blue button for "Download directly from our server" on the mobile.

Thank! I'll do that, as I'll mostly be offline the next few days.
Got it, and like the detailed instructions for installing it. I did a screenshot of that for reference, in case I have problems again.
