Saving contacts to Samsung Galaxy Vibrant

Hi, I just started using DejaOffice yesterday. I use Outlook on my laptop and have a Samsung Galaxy Vibrant. I have been able to sync my contacts from Outlook to the DejaOffice Contact file, but I'm not able to save them to the native phone contact list. Can you explain how to save the DejaOffice contacts to the phone and make sure that any changes made in Outlook/Dejaoffice are also made to the phone? I'm not able to use Google to sync contacts due to workplace rules.
Thanks - other than this small issue I love DejaOffice. I was ready to trash my Android phone and go back to a Blackberry until I found it!

KAENA and other DejaOffice Team members: These instructions do not work with Samsung Galaxy phones. When selecting which account to sync with, there is no "contact" account. My Samsung Fascinate lists my "google email" account and facebook account. The "google email" does not contain the native contacts on this phone.

One-way synch of limited fields from Galaxy S phone account to DejaOffice?

Would it be possible to allow a one-way synch from numbers saved to the phone on a Galaxy S into DejaOffice? Then I wouldn't have to synch all my zillions of contacts to add saved phone numbers. Not synching many fields wouldn't be an issue, because it would largely be just a name and phone number, and additional fields could be populated in DejaOffice or Outlook. This would save a lot of time and allow fast updating of the database when I save a new entry from a phone call.

We have found a way to move information from the proprietary database of Galaxy S phones. Look for that feature soon.

DejaOffice as a whole, however is designed as a landing pad for PC information to the phone. The main "landing place" is DejaContacts. Any support for the proprietary databases will be limited since these databases are not standard across the operating system.

Thank you for finding a way to pull the phone-saved data into dejaoffice. It will be great to essentially be able to use DejaOffice as the only contacts, except for briefly saving to the phone database when a phone call comes in and I want to save the number, and then reading Android data into DejaOffice and never having to save contacts to the google account. You have the most responsive customer support ever.
